The Review Company approached The Hive Digital needing a complete e-commerce website built from the ground up to sell their contactless Google review cards. As a new brand entering a fast-growing space, helping small businesses turn happy customers into 5-star Google reviews, they needed a site that made a genuinely simple product feel effortless to understand, trust and buy. We were tasked with delivering a full e-commerce build including product structure, checkout and a clean, conversion-focused design that could turn first-time visitors into paying customers without friction.

Explaining a physical and digital hybrid product (NFC tap cards and QR codes) in a way that's instantly understandable to non-technical small business owners. Structuring a tiered product range (1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 25 tile bundles) so customers could quickly find the right pack size for their business. Building a fully functional e-commerce checkout with variable pricing and stock management from scratch. Creating trust and credibility for a brand new business with no existing reputation, notable given the product itself is built entirely on trust and reviews. Designing a site that felt as simple and frictionless as the product it was selling.
Understand the Brand. Before any design work began, we got to grips with what The Review Company was actually solving, the gap between a happy customer and an online review. The product itself is simple, tap a card, leave a review, but the brand needed to feel just as effortless. Our job was to strip away unnecessary complexity and build a digital experience that matched the promise of the product itself.
Creative Direction. The creative direction leaned into clarity and simplicity above everything else. We used a clean, modern layout with plenty of white space, straightforward product photography and a clear three-step visual explanation (tap, review, grow) so that any visitor, regardless of technical confidence, could understand the product and its value within seconds.
Identity Design. We developed a visual identity that felt trustworthy and approachable rather than corporate, reflecting the small business owners the brand serves. Consistent iconography, a confident but simple colour palette and clear typography kept the experience focused on the product and the outcome it delivers.
Brand Delivery. Delivery covered a full e-commerce build on Webflow, including a tiered product and pricing structure, a working checkout and cart system, a three-step "how it works" explainer, an about page, FAQ section and newsletter capture, with on-site copy written throughout to keep the product's value proposition front and centre at every stage of the journey.

The result is a fast, frictionless e-commerce site that makes it easy for small businesses to understand The Review Company's product and buy with confidence. The site explains a genuinely simple idea, tap, review, grow, without unnecessary complexity, and gives The Review Company a scalable platform to keep converting visitors into customers as the brand grows.
